Open Competitions at Sandford Springs 2012

Wednesday 9th May 2012

To be played in pairs over 27 holes with 9 holes each of Foursomes, Greensomes and Better Ball Stableford.
The entry fee of £97.00 per pair. To include: Coffee & Bacon Roll on arrival, 9 holes, light lunch, 18 holes with on course refreshments, 2 course evening meal and prizes.
Eligibility: Open to Past Captains and Past Lady captains of affiliated clubs. Pairs may be men, ladies or mixed either from the same or different clubs.
Handicaps: Handicap limit – 24. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will play to the above limit.
Ladies will receive 2 courtesy shots added to their handicap before stroke allowance is calculated.
Tee times will be allocated from 9.30am.
Jacket & Tie required for evening meal.

The inclusive entry fee of £79.00 per pair.

Eligibility: Open to adult Lady members of affiliated clubs.
Handicaps: Handicap limit - 36. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will play to the above limit.
Tee times will be allocated from 12.30pm onwards.

Handicaps: 3/4 Handicap stroke allowance. Handicap limit men - 18 / ladies - 24. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will play to the above limit.
Ladies will receive 2 courtesy shots added to their handicap before stroke allowance is calculated.
Format: Better ball Stableford points score on each hole.
Jacket and Tie required for evening meal.

SENIOR GENTLEMEN'S OPEN DAY

Thursday 16th August 2012

The day offers an individual Stableford competition over 18 holes.
To include:
Coffee & Bacon Roll on arrival, on course refreshments, evening meal and prizes
at an inclusive price of £ 118.50 per team of three.
All cards and stroke allocation prepared. Main scoreboard giving up to date scores.
Play will be in 3’s. Apart from 1st prize, the prizes will be divided between members and
visitors according to entries.
Eligibility: Open to gentlemen of affiliated clubs and born before 16th August 1957.
There will be additional awards for entrants aged 65 or over. Please enter your age on the form.

Handicaps: Full Handicap allowance.
Handicap limit – 18 players with higher handicaps may enter but will play to the above limit.

All cards and stroke allocation prepared. Main scoreboard giving up to date scores.
Eligibility: Open to men’s, ladies or mixed teams of 4 players.Professionals maybe included. Clubs may enter more than one team.
Format of play: A Team Stableford with the best 3 points scores on each hole to count.
Handicaps: 3/4 Handicap allowance. Handicap limit men—18 / ladies—24.
Players with higher handicaps are welcome to play but will play off the above limits. Ladies will receive 2 courtesy shots added to their handicap before stroke allowance is calculated.
Jacket and Tie required for evening meal.
