As of October 2011 we have made some changes to our Membership joining procedure to help our new members get the most out of their membership.
Sandford Springs is renowned as being a friendly club. We also believe that it is a fantastic golf course but the benefits of being a member of the club reach further than just the golf course!
If you decide that Sandford Springs is a golf club that you would like to join then we have a process to introduce new members to ensure that you get the most out of your membership.
Once you have filled out your application form we will then invite you to come along to an induction meeting with some of the club management and club Captain. This is a very informal meeting where we can introduce you to the Club philosophy, social activities, how to get a handicap, play competitions or matches and all the other facilities and benefits that are on offer to you. This is also a great chance for you to let us know what you want from your membership as there are a few different membership options to choose from.
Following a mutual decision to proceed with your membership you will then be asked to play the course with our Professional before your membership formally begins.
The time spent with the Professional will help you to gain some knowledge of the course itself, course care and etiquette and you’ll probably gain a few tips on how to improve your golf too.
Once these steps are completed then you will receive your Membership pack which will include a club sweater and shirt in the team colours along with a first tee pack and custom fitted golf balls and scorecard holder.
