We had the most wonderful day and every one of the ladies told me how much they had enjoyed it. The course is really lovely and the meal was delicious. I have been widely praised for discovering such a gem!
As a result of our visit two of the ladies in our group are considering using Sandford Springs for future events - one for our annual Away night held in August each year (36 ladies play) and the other for a social mixed group of 8 couples. Thank you very much for hosting us last Friday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and were impressed with the condition of the course and the professionalism of you and your staff. We would also like to thank you for being understanding regarding the numbers we ended up with! Message to self not to book on a bank holiday weekend again. We managed to raise over £1000 for our charity, Swindon Outdoor Centre, in the evening so all in all a great day. Just a quick note to thank you and the staff at Sandford Springs for an excellent day on Wednesday. I know it is what we have come to expect, but in the "post golf review" held down the pub everybody was very complementary about the professionalism and welcome of the staff. And from my point of view it was also about how you all coped with my ever changing requirements - from having got the day wrong to the numbers oscillating almost up to the first tee off! Thanks again, and I am sure we will be back again next year, and I will be playing the course outside of our society day.

Hi Sue, Thank you on behalf of us all, we all enjoyed it, it was a brilliant day, please can you thank all the staff, each and everyone from the golf shop, bar staff, waiters and yourself. I think we will definitely be back next year. We always play 2nd Wednesday in the month, I will get back to you after our next committee meeting but I'm happy if you want to pencil it in now. I think as we know the course now we might need more buggies!!! Some of the holes were absolutely stunning, especially the par 4 dropping sharply to the left over the lake with all the rhododendrons out..... Beautiful could be at the US Masters. Sorry we messed you around with food numbers, but hope all was ok, the food was spot on. Thank you again for a wonderful day.

From your efficiency through our booking Sue, your understanding of an illness of one of our members and not charging him (he was very disappointed at not being able to play and would never let anyone down if he could help it), to the efficient friendliness of the staff, a sincere thank you. "As you know, we held our daughter Keira and son in law Graham’s wedding celebration at Sandford last Saturday following their marriage back in February in Thailand. We only had the immediate family present out in Thailand so it was good to have a second celebration for other family and friends. In the end about 75 people managed to make it last Saturday. We would like to thank all of the staff who were involved - Robin for his advice and assistance with the booking, Paul and his staff including Debbie for their hard work and enthusiasm, the chefs for the excellent buffet and help with the wedding cake. The buffet was excellent (the vegetarian selection appreciated by many) and the service was always with a smile. We were very fortunate with the weather but I think even more fortunate to have had a great setting for the event and a great team to look after us – please pass on our thanks to all concerned. Also thanks to you I was able to play at The Oxfordshire with the seniors on Tuesday. The weather was fabulous, the course was in great shape and the clubhouse is spectacular BUT when I was driving away it occurred to me, even with all that, it has a long way to go to be a CLUB as great as Sandford Springs which is again all down to you and your team."
