The Sandford Springs Amateur Scratch Open

Sandford Springs hosted the first Sandford Springs Amateur Scratch Open where single handicap golfers competed for the chance to win £500

The weather was perfect, the course was playing great and golfers came from all over the South to compete in the 36 hole competition.
It was also a strong turn out for the Sandford Springs, with 4 of the top 5 scores being members. Sandford Springs' Matt Selley won the £500 1st place with a combined score of 3 over par, Luke McCreery from Saltford Golf Club took 2nd place with a score of 5 over and Alex Piper also from Sandford Springs finished 3rd with a score of 6 over.
